We have arrived in Bonn, and what a beautiful city we have to be our home base for the next week! Located in the northwestern region of Germany, it lies along the Rhine River. Bonn was the capitol of West Germany, and remains an important center for business. Our flights to Germany were overnight, and by the time we arrived in Bonn most of our group were pretty tired. We took a bus tour to familiarize ourselves with the city and enjoyed our first meal of traditional German food. The city is lovely and the spätzel delicious! Tomorrow begins our programming and I am excited to learn more about the German education system.
